Scott Henderson — C-Shell

Acclaimed NYC-based industrial designer Scott Henderson strikes again, and this time he means (risky) business. His new adult toy design for MYLA, a UK fashion brand, was launched earlier this year with great success at a gala sprinkled with some of England’s top super-models. C-Shell embodies a sleek, aerodynamic form and appears unique at first sight thanks to its large loop handle, which carries vibrations throughout the entire unit, enabling “contact” to multiple places at once. The casing houses a large motor that is powered by a whopping four AA batteries. The first batch of C-Shells quickly sold out and a waiting list has formed for the next round. C-Shell is currently sold in the UK, Spain and France at prominent department stores such as Selfridges and House of Fraser, making their way over the US later this year.
